What a fun Christmas for your family with this little guy aboard! Will you see them over the holidays?

I still say he looks like Tom Hanks in that first pic.

Who does he resemble the most? Tom Hanks, or Barack Obama?

He is soooo cute...what a little ham for the camera!

Tom Hanks or Barack Obama???  NEITHER!!!  In fact he's so cute that if he didn't have on the suit and tie, one would mistake him for a girl.  He has the sweetest face, and his eyes are gorgeous.

I've forgotten, but aren't you supposed to have grandbab"ies" (in the plural) soon?

May you and yours have a very happy Christmas! ~Blessings, Sandy

You, harsh?  Never! :)  I realized when I wrote that post that there was another point of view on the use of images of Jesus and that some very faithful Christians do not celebrate Christmas has a religious holiday because it is not found in scripture.  My post was geared toward myself and folks who do celebrate Christmas (or try) as a Christian feast.  I almost clarified to start with, and even though I'm not totally in line with the WCF on pictures of Jesus (since he was a human and lived), I'm opposed to those "cheesy" or "cutesy" pictures of Jesus.....like those precious moments versions of the nativty.  I collect snow babies, and my mother gave me a little snow baby nativity scene!!!  It even lights up!!!  A Santa Claus would be MUCH better in this case. ;)  I put it out just so I don't hurt her feelings, but the thing is truly weird and offensive.  Sometimes I'm tempted to let my youngest play with it so it can "accidentally" break.  But if one is celebrating Advent as a teaching tool and call to holiness, I thought the author had a good point about making ourselves the center of our gospel presentation via a Christmas card.  I think I can stand to be a little less economical in this one instance.  Btw....I like the notes you mentioned placing in your cards.
